Weekend Shopping

Well it's official, I've purchased my first Christmas present. I found this super soft zebra bathrobe and it had my cousin's name written all over it so I had to get it. She always the first one that I find a present for. I only wish everyone else on my list was as easy as she is to shop for!
I ususally buy similar brushes at Sally Beauty Supply (Orange Wood brand) but I found these at TJ Maxx (Whirlers brand). They are basically the same brush- 100% natural boar bristles with nylon bristles. I have naturally curly/wavy hair and this brush smoothes and straightens my hair so well that I rarely need to even use the flat iron. I picked up two, one for me (the larger one) and one for my mom because I have her addicted to this brush too.

Purple/Silver Glitter sunglasses case (Marshalls)

Badgley Mischka Tablecloth (TJ Maxx)
I LOVE this print and the fabric is amazing quality too.

Silver Candleabra (TJ Maxx)
It looks a lot better in person but I'm not sure if I like it or not now that it's in my dining room.

Salt & Pepper Birds (Pier 1)
I'm finding that I am obsessed with birds lately
but they will go perfetly with out white square dinnerware that we have on our registry.
Our kitchen theme is clean and modern- everything is stainless steel and white.
Succulent Floating Candles with river rocks (Pier 1)
I'm going to look for a tray for them and lay them in there as they are packaged here instead of using them as floating candles. Floating candles are too much maintence. If you don't use them right away, you have to constantly change the water to prevent them from getting slimy; it's gross, trust me.

  1. How cute!! I love the print of your tablecloth, too cute. And I love those little bird salt and pepper shakers! I wanted to get frog ones, but John rolled his eyes, so I took that as a no, and my friend ended up buying me Cupcake ones anyway. :) haha. Oh! I wanted to tell you, I went to a Bed Bath and Beyond specifically to look for that hand mit with the bow, and I was unsuccessful. :( lol Anyway, cute stuff!!
