Quick First Floor Tour

It finally happened! Our house passed the final round of inspections on Friday, December 6th, we moved on the 7th and since then I've been in a cleaning, organizing, and unpacking frenzy. So that's why I've been MIA around here... We're so lucky that we were able to move last weekend because we got hit with a snowstorm this weekend and with the holidays right around the corner, it feels good to be settled in our new home.

There's still a ton of work to be done. The house is basically a clean slate right now but I have so many projects and ideas in mind that I'll be sure to share on here as we go along. We've only been moved in a week so everything is still a work in progress but I thought I'd share a few photos of the progress so far.
The Kitchen
We cannot decide on a paint color to save our lives. Most of the house is painted with Benjamin Moore's Revere Pewter and although we wanted something different in here, I think we may just end up going with Revere Pewter because it goes so perfectly with everything.

Standing in the laundry area looking into the kitchen, beyond that is the sunken living room. Off of the laundry area is a half bath. Please excuse Aubrey's links on the kitchen floor- I told you these were quick shots!

  1. I love Revere Pewter and have used it throughout my house!
We have two entry closets as well. One has been turned into my shoe and purse closet :p

    1. It really is the best color. I usually end up buying at least 5 samples before finding the right shade so I'm so happy I went with this one first.

  7. Congrats on the new house (finally! YAY!)--love the chalkboard wall!

Paint colours, hmmm… tough call for sure. I'd stick with the grey scheme or add in a darker taupe for warmth. So hard!! GOOD LUCK :)
