7 years ago, on this very day, my (now) fiance asked me to be his girlfriend in the sweetest way I could imagine. Here we are 7 years later, engaged and planning our wedding! Instead of buying a store bought card and going out to dinner at a fancy restaurant we decided to make this year a little more special. It is the last time that we will celebrate this anniversary because in just 5 months we will have a new anniversary to celebrate. That doesn't mean that we will forget our "dating anniversary" or February 7th, our engagement date but as of May we will have a whole new special day to celebrate and remember.This year, we decided to make eachother cards and we are going to cook our anniversary meal together. We're having a feast today, which starts out with, eggs, sausage, bacon, and toast for breakfast; followed by Chicken Mediteranean for dinner (a dish that I've missed since one of our favorite restaurants went out of business).
