Well my bags are packed and I'm more than ready to go but the real question here is when she will be ready. I have an appointment today and I'm hoping that there's some progress because her parents are ready to meet her and her mother is getting pretty uncomfortable these days.
What's in My Bag:
My Going Home Outfit Old Navy Hooded Sweatshirt, Striped Tank Top, and Black Fleece Pants |
My Hospital Outfit Gilligan & O'Malley Robe Not only is this robe super soft and comfortable but it's black (so no worries about staining) and it will allow for easy access for nursing. |
Socks, Undies, Day Nursing Bra, Night Nursing Bra, Slippers, and Flip Flops |
My Husband's Change of Clothes (just in case) |
Toiletries: Dry Shampoo, Deodorant, Face Wash, Body Wash, Lotion, Toothpaste, Razor, Hair Clip, Headband, Brush Last Minute Things to Pack: toothbrush and a few makeup essentials |
Quarters for the vending machines, Chocolate Bar (from my baby shower that I've been saving because I'm weird like that), Gum, Phone Charger, and Birth Plan What's in Her Bag: |
The cutest coat I've ever laid eyes on. |
Newborn Outfit |
0-3 Months Outfit I really love this outfit but if she's too tiny for it, I have the backup. |
Obviously the car seat is not getting packed but it will be coming with us and I wanted to show you the adorable damask car seat cover that I found on etsy. The gray weather-resistant cover is by J.J Cole.
That is a stinking cute coat! Have fun meeting your little girl!!!
ReplyDeleteOh my I love the kitty skirt! Just so you know they will let you change into your own pjs and may I suggest a night dress... I HAD to have a c section and all I brought were pants to wear and you do NOT want to wear pants. I was jealous I knew my neighbor in the hospital and she came running over after giving birth in her pants and she was moving like she could run a marathon after hers, I hope that's how yours goes...super smooth! So excited for you!
ReplyDeleteI know, I adore that outfit too! I was thinking about what to wear incase of a emergency c-section but it's so cold here that I can't imagine a dress so... I'm at a loss. Thanks for the advice! Is there anything that I'm missing?
DeleteThis all looks great! I way over packed and I think you are right on the money! I LIVED in my robe (I think I have the same one, but in gray)...it was the one thing that I will tell EVERY mama to make sure to bring! SO SO SO excited for you! C'mon lil lady!
ReplyDeleteLove seeing all the things you packed! I'm nowhere near ready to have a baby but it's good to get some ideas of what I'd need in the future. Hope your little girl arrives soon!!

DeleteLooks like you're all packed and ready to go! :)
ReplyDeleteGreat post, I am due in April so it's nice to see what type of things I need to bring. May I ask where you got that coat, it is truly gorgeous :) x
ReplyDeleteCongrats!!! My birthday is in April, it's a great month for a birthday:) The coat was a gift so I'm not sure where it's from.
DeleteSO darling and this makes me so excited! Cute outfits, but don't be surprised if the 0-3 size drowns her - they are crazy tiny when they arrive... well, most. ;)
