OOTD NOTD & The Pumpkin Patch!

The husband and I had a nice, laid back day today. We went to our favorite pancake house for a huge brunch and then we went to a pumpkin patch! This is what I wore:
Sweater- Ross
White V Neck- Forever 21
Jeans- Charlotte Russe
Scarf- Strawberry's
Boots- Qupid
Nail Polish: Nina Ultra Pro Never Glum Plum mixed with some white polish for a custom creation. I got the idea because I saw an OPI polish (Parlez-Vous) that was discontinued and I have been looking for a color like it for a while now. I recently bought Never Glum Plum thinking it would be a good dupe but it is way too dark but adding the white made it perfection!

We got some goodies at the pumpkin patch! I got a candy apple and my husband got some chocolate peanut butter fudge. yummmm.
We also got 3 pumpkins to paint!
I painted one and we are going to paint the other 2 when we have time during the week.

I had so much fun painting. It was like I was a kid agian! Great stress reliever. Hmmm maybe I should start painting for a hobby...?

Now, next weekends project: figuring out our Halloween costumes and making them. We have a good idea on what we are doing but it's not set in stone, yet. What are you dressing up as for Halloween?

  1. I'm so jealous you went to Italy for your honeymoon! How fantastic! :)

  2. Very cute outfit!!!!

  3. Very cute! I'm loving your pumpkins and so jealous that your hubby would do that with you!! haha. Do you paint them free hand? Because they look amazing!

Can't wait to see what you decide on making for your Halloween costume.

  4. Oh wow, I never thought of mixing nail polish, thats a smart idea! how did you do it? like did you put it in a bottle or just like paint and mix them? I love the color!

  5. painting really is therapeutic! i just brought my paints back to school with me. :) stress relief begins now!
