Aw, I think that is a lovely way to remember your grandfather. I'm so sorry for your loss. I recently lost my grandpa as well and I've been so sad about it every single day since he passed, it's definitely rough to cope with the passing of such a beloved person in your life. I really love this idea though.

Wow, that is extremely sentimental. My grandfather also passed away a few years ago and I was very heavy hearted to lose such an amazing person in my life. I think it's fantastic that you have part of yours with you at all times. So sweet!

ReplyDeleteYour necklace reminds me of the Victorian tradition of keeping a lock of their loved one's hair in a locket - so that they always feel close to them. I can see how this necklace brings you comfort - thanks for sharing!
